The game currently has the highest CCU among all titles from Gearbox Publishing, which is another subsidiary of the Swedish holding company. Remnant II has every chance to become a new hit in Embracer Group’s portfolio (its developer, Gunfire Games, is owned by THQ Nordic). However, this should be no surpise given the success of the first game and the fact that Gunfire Games managed to keep the original formula (procedurally generated maps, co-op, and some soulslike ideas) and improve on it. Despite the troubles mentioned above, Remnant II had an impressive launch, especially for a $50 AA title. In their tech review, Digital Foundry praised the use of the Nanite geometry system, they noted that console versions also have performance issues. Remnant II is also available on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.Some of the negative reviews for Remnant II on Steam According to Gunfire Games, it was designed “with upscaling in mind”, resulting in low FPS without technologies like DLSS and FSR, even on top-tier hardware. Although most players seem to enjoy Remnant II, the main criticism is directed at performance issues. The PC version also holds an average score of 80 on Metacritic. Gunfire’s new title currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 83% of more than 3,000 user reviews being positive.Steam’s top sellers (July 18-25), including free-to-play titles In terms of revenue, it managed to outperform free-to-play hits like Apex Legends and PUBG. Remnant II was the highest-grossing premium game on Steam for the week of July 18-25.The game also surpassed 100k concurrent viewers on Twitch. Launched on July 25, Remnant II has already peaked at 82,742 concurrent users (CCU), according to SteamDB.PUBG maintained dominance of the battle royale genre until early 2018, when Fortnite: Battle Royale started to take off. The game eventually made its way to consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and initially cost $29.99 it still does, until the new free-to-play price kicks in. PUBG launched in early access in 2017 (though it was called PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds until this summer) and quickly gained popularity, rocketing up the Steam top games chart. The free-to-play version of PUBG is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Players who have already purchased and played PUBG before its transition to free-to-play will get a special pack that includes a free Battlegrounds Plus account upgrade and special cosmetic items. The account upgrade comes with a one-time fee of $12.99, but the features are optional to the core PUBG experience ![]() This offers players extra currency, a Ranked Mode, Custom Match functionality, in-game items, and other bonuses. ![]() PUBG Studios made the announcement at The Game Awards 2021 on Thursday evening.Īfter PUBG: Battlegrounds becomes free-to-play, it will also introduce a new premium account called Battlegrounds Plus. PUBG: Battlegrounds, which helped battle royales become one of the most popular genres in gaming, is finally going free to play on Jan, 12, 2022.

11/28/2023 0 Comments Va copay waiver formMany businesses prefer to copy from a template, rather than starting completely from scratch. Luckily there are many examples and templates out there that can be used when writing a waiver form. Using word processors for waivers may work in some instances, but as your business grows in complexity it can benefit your organization to have productivity tools in place to streamline how you capture information in the field. The rise of app technology has made it easier than ever to complete all types of waiver forms, collecting digital signatures and storing documents directly to the cloud – even without an internet connection. For example, software for waiver apps can have all of your waiver form templates available and customers can read and sign off on the forms digitally. Since waiver forms rely on signature capture, more companies are looking to specific waiver apps that can be filled out directly on a tablet or mobile device in the field. You would need to print out the form or use a third party app to collect a digital signature. However one key downside of using Google Forms or Word documents is that you aren’t able to natively collect signatures using these tools. ![]() Since waivers are basic documents by nature, it’s entirely possible to use a word processor such as Google Forms or Microsoft Word to produce waiver forms. By willingly entering into an agreement, the waiver form acts as a record that all parties have been informed of potential risks and agree not to hold the business legally responsible in case of an incident or accident. While no one is ever required to sign off a waiver form, businesses may refuse service if all parties do not sign off on the waiver form. The basic purpose of a waiver form is to shield a business from liability and risk. Waiver forms act as a release of liability for the company and typically the customer or participant will need to sign the form in order to move forward. This type of agreement between a business and its customers is used to document that all parties are aware of potential risks in certain situations. ![]() ![]() Waiver forms are a type of legal protection used by businesses to reduce their liability and risk. 11/28/2023 0 Comments Github desktop old versionIn this article, we will talk about some of the advantages we can have by using GitHub Desktop and how it can improve your overall experience. Along with a number of features and tools of GitHub to manage repositories and work efficiently such as attributing commits and creating pull requests. Hence, developers using this platform can complete most of the GIT commands directly from the desktop with visual confirmation. However, it seems like the developers of the GitHub Desktop app have ignored Linux users because it is only for Windows and MacOS.Īlso, one thing which we need to know is the GitHub Desktop app is meant to interact only with the GitHub website. ![]() Using it developers of all skill levels can easily collaborate and work together on projects, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced developers alike. This Git GUI app is simple in design and has intuitive features and can be considered a good alternative to SourceTree. The software is written in TypeScript and uses React. It provides users with an easy-to-use interface for managing and organizing repositories hosted on the GitHub platform. You can track people and watch what they do or who they connect with.GitHub Desktop is a free and open-source Desktop application developed by GitHub to provide a Git GUI client to manage repositories graphically instead of command line. In addition to contributing to a specific project, GitHub allows users to socialize with people who agree with them. The hub on GitHub, like Git, translates the command line into the largest social network for developers. If Git is the heart of GitHub, Hub is his soul. Once the changes have been made and the updated code is ready, the property branch can be combined with the major, so that the changes made to the project become active. Property branches do not affect the parent branch where the original project code is located. This means that each software engineer on the team can reserve a feature branch that provides an isolated local repository to make changes to the code. Git offers feature branches, unlike centralized version control systems. That is, any developer on the team granted access can manage source code and change history using the Git command line tools. It is a distributed version control system. More than 87% of developers use Git for their projects. ![]() Git is an open source project launched in 2005 that has become one of the most popular VCSs on the market. First we have to find out what version control is. To better understand what GitHub is and how it works, we need to dig deeper. It allows developers to collaborate and make changes to partner projects while following their progress in detail. In short, GitHub is a cloud-based service that hosts a version control system called Git. This means a large number of professionals turning to GitHub for workflow and collaboration improvements. It currently hosts more than 25 million users. Performances at the Pietà and its rival ospedali became a must-see for visitors to Venice, and not just for the music. With his reputation grew the status of the Pietà, which elevated him to maestro di coro, allowing him to focus more on composing and conducting. More than once his annual contract was terminated and reinstated by the board between 17. ![]() After a brief stint as a priest, Vivaldi was first hired by the Pietà as a maestro di violino at age 25 in 1703. This minimized the number of male teachers, contracted one year at a time, in the all-female environment. Music education at the Venetian ospedali was largely based on a peer-teaching system, in which an accomplished senior student known as a figlia di cori ( cori meaning musical establishment as a whole, not just singers) would be assigned to teach younger students. To this day, a marble plaque embedded in the wall of a later church of Santa Maria della Pietà invokes the warning of Pope Paul III in 1548 of dire consequences for parents abandoning children there if they could afford to raise them. Founded in 1336, the Pietà was unique in being both single-sex and accepting infant girls born both in and out of wedlock, provided the child was small enough to fit in a box near the door. Aside from his forty-six operas, most of his five hundred-plus concertos, ninety solo sonatas, and dozens of choral works resulted from his thirty-year association as teacher, conductor, and composer for the orphans in the Ospedale della Pietà, one of four such institutions with prominent musical establishments in Venice. The vast majority of Antonio Vivaldi’s prolific compositions resulted from his various responsibilities in his long teaching career. 11/27/2023 0 Comments Start11 trialUpdated S11 to 1.4 which (hopefully) will address the issues introduced with the new Windows taskbar in Windows 11 build: 22621.Commented on: Microsoft Edge flags Google Chrome installer as harmful, mistake or deliberate action?.Fixed the issue with the secondary taskbars when in only show buttons on the monitor the window is on mode and also a fix for the line on the taskbar not appearing over some parts of the taskbar correctly.Addressing compatibility issues associated with KB5022913.Forces autohide taskbars to medium bar size as the new Windows 11 taskbar only supports that.Tweaks the sync pins code to see if that helps with a report of it looping.Fixes a jump to invisible default buttons issue on the config when jumping to default buttons is enabled in some mouse driver.Makes the search box shift over correctly when clicked when the taskbar is showing the search box and Start11 is in experimental center mode.Fixes a slow taskbar issue with enhanced taskbar on.Improved WB compatibility so a WB skin now correctly shrinks the start button.A tweak to swapping from large/small icons when switched to autohide mode.A tweak to the detection of the touch-optimized taskbar capable hardware.Small-mode taskbar items now have a wider active indicator bar under them.Fixes the position of the new search box on the taskbar with ‘moment 2’ when the multiline taskbar is enabled or the taskbar is on top.Adjusted small mode taskbar to have larger icons on ‘Moment2’ as the start button + taskview etc buttons are larger on that OS in that state so increased to match a bit better.A tweak for resizing taskbars in that mode to workaround a rounding error and refreshes the taskbar blur after screen resolution changes etc. ![]()

11/27/2023 0 Comments Vox pathfinder 15r better than tubeLike the AV range, the Vox VR amps also feature a 12AX7 tube in the power stage. All the different Vox AV models cover everything from bedroom use (AV15) up to gigs (AV60) with the AV30 lying somewhere in the middle. It’s all housed in a really cool, retro-looking cabinet that’s also been designed to increase resonance. Other features include a bright and fat switch for you to hone in on the tone you want, as well as a few on board effects. Each amp has eight individual circuits voiced to give different sounds from clean to distorted, with everything in between. This, combined with the all analogue circuitry helps the amps give out a warm and harmonically rich sound. The Vox AV amps are new and feature a real 12AX7 tube in the preamp. The VX-I puts out 15 watts and the VX-II is 30 watts – the latter would be loud enough to play with a drummer, and even some smaller gigs. These amps are great for beginners as they enable players to get to grips with all the different amp types and various effects that are available. ![]() The Vox VX amps have other handy features such as aux in so you can plug in your MP3 player, and a headphone output for silent practice. There is also space for 22 presets so that you can save your favourite settings for easy recall. It’s got 11 virtual amps on board, including the legendary AC30, as well as built in modulation and delay/reverb effects. This is another amp that use modelling technology to give you a wide range of tones, this time using new ‘Virtual Element Technology’ that blends both analogue and digital amp designs. You also have the option to run it off batteries if you want to use it on the go. It’s small enough to keep on a desktop or hidden in the living room. it emulates the sound of a wide range of different amplifiers meaning you can get everything from classic Vox cleans through nice classic rock crunch all the way to high gain metal tones, with on-board effects – you can even run a microphone or acoustic guitar through it. The following is a bit of a breakdown of what Vox have to offer and the differences between them hopefully it will help you figure out which Vox amp is right for you. Whilst it’s true that Vox do make amps that are great for players of classic rock/pop, there will be an amp in their line up that will suit literally, any kind of player. If you go to any decently decked-out recording studio, chances are they’ve got an AC30 or AC15 hiding somewhere. Pretty much everyone has used a Vox amp at some point, from the obvious choices like The Beatles, Oasis, Paul Weller, Hank Marvin, Radiohead etc to some that might surprise you My Chemical Romance, Brian May (Queen), Matt Bellamy (Muse), All American Rejects, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters and many more. The brand is synonymous with the 60s British invasion music movement and has since become a global icon. is probably the more useful and "better" amp, at about 3x the price of the Vox, but as that silly review site asks, "if stolen" I would replace both.Vox have been going since the 1950s and as such have a very rich history. although I stayed with 12AX7's in the pre.īetween the two, the Pro, Jr. Neither one is modded, except I have Groove-tubes in the Pro, Jr. ![]() Actually, I bought it for the tremolo, but have had a ton of fun using it for rhythm parts I record it on at least 1/4 of my songs, and I do not find the typical S/S objections (harsh, trebly, un-dynamic). It's loud enough, very responsive, and the reverb, tremolo and the boost-gain switch are awesome extras. I bought the Pathfinder over the summer, and while I really do not want to, in that its solid-state, I love the thing. ![]() It also seems to take effects very well, and I especially like a tube-pedal in front. I play it more than any other of the 10+ amps I own, and it appears on just about every recording I do. But it sounds nice and "country-Fender" at lower volumes, too. ![]() for about 10 years, and love it it's very versatile and only a touch noisy, although quite loud if you want the gain. 11/27/2023 0 Comments Old fashion nasa pcThis file containsįor all usage examples, we will assume an IBM PC or compatibleĬomputer with a CDROM mounted as drive D:Įxtract an ephemeris data file for orbit 291 to the file "mydata.asc" VALID: PULSE, SPIN, EPHEM, LOGISTIC, SEL_ROLL, ATTITUDE,Ĭolfile: An ASCII file containing a list of column (numbers) to beĮxtracted from the "ephemeris" dataset. There are such DOS games written that check their file size using a floating point compare that will fail in this manner. It is known at this time that this lack of precision is enough to cause otherwise straightforward comparisons against integers to fail in DOS applications originally written in QBasic or Turbo Basic. This slight loss of precision is perfectly fine considering DOSBox's original goal in supporting DOS games, but may cause problems in other cases that need the full precision. The Intel FPU registers are 80-bit "extended precision" floating point values, not 64-bit double precision, so this is effectively 12 bits of precision loss and 5 bits of range loss (64 to 53 mantissa bits and 16 to 11 exponent bits). Unless using the dynamic core, DOSBox and DOSBox-X emulate the FPU registers using the "double" 64-bit floating point data type.
